Dr Leah Totton

2018 KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Dr Leah Totton was the winner of The Apprentice in 2013.


Northern Ireland born Leah graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2011 with an overall distinction in medicine before embarking on an NHS career as well as medical aesthetics training undertaken in Harley Street London.


Having won the Apprentice prize of a £250,000 investment from businessman Lord Sugar, Leah launched her first clinic, Dr Leah Clinics (www.drleah.co.uk), in 2014 in the heart of the City of London, offering a range of cosmetic skincare treatments ranging from Botox to laser treatments for the body and skin. The business has thrived with their flagship clinic crowned "Best London Clinic" for two consecutive years in national cosmetic awards. Together with Lord Sugar, Leah has went went on to open a second Dr Leah clinic in Loughton, Essex in 2016 and a third Dr Leah Clinic opens on 8th December in London. The brand has also formulated a Dr Leah skincare line which is set to launch in early 2019.


Alongside her work at Dr Leah clinics, Dr Leah has continued to work as an NHS doctor and is completing an MSc in Dermatology. Dr Leah is a spokesperson for the U.K. cosmetic sector and makes regular media appearances calling for industry regulation and standards to be improved. She is also passionate about women’s causes and is the patron of several woman’s charities including Woman’s Aid.

Speaker bio:


Professor Hutchison is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at St Bartholomew’s, The Royal London and University College London Hospitals. He is also Honorary Chief Executive and founder of Saving Faces – The Facial Surgery Research Foundation and Director of the National Facial, Oral and Oculoplastic Research Centre (NFORC). He was appointed to a professorship in 2007 and founded the United Kingdom Oral Cancer Research Group.


Iain has written for many publications and is in great demand as a lecturer and expert media commentator. He is also past President of the British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (BAOMS).


In his talk, Revolutions in Facial Surgery, Professor Hutchison will describe the huge advances in facial surgery over the past 50 years, how this has impacted practitioners and patients and conclude with the tantalising prospects of what the future holds. He will offer insight into how the work aesthetic practitioners carry out complements his surgical procedures to offer an holistic approach to those who have suffered disfigurement from birth, illness or injury.
